 Bavia Arts studio is located on 898b St Clair Ave West in the heart of St Clair West hip strip. A hub for cultural and artistic based activities, Bavia Arts hosts an amazing roster of International Artists and Companies each offering their unique classes and services.
Founded in 2008 by Luciano Porto, Bavia Arts has created a unique space in the city that threads the gap between artists and the public offering opportunities for authentic cultural experiences and exchanges.
The facilities consist of a dance studio 1,200 sq ft sprung dance floor, lounge area, reception/gift-shop, change rooms with showers, sound proof music studio and private offices. The gift shop features Flora Viva's Natural body care products made on-site and Bavia Crafts imported instruments, drums and other crafts.

4pm - Afro-Cuban dance and percussion with Consuelo Herrera and Raimundo Sosa

 Group Visits and Field Trips:
Why not bring your group to Bavia Arts for an introduction to Brazilian Culture. We offer half-day and full-day programming. Choose from our Brazilian Drumming, African Drumming, Samba Bateria Drumming, Afro-Brazilian Dance, Capoeira, Mask/Costume Design, Instrument Building Shop or Yoga workshops. We can also customize a program to suit your needs or organization size.
Bavia Arts Studio Rentals:
Our studio space is available for rental. Please contact us if you would like to inquire about renting space for your class or event.
We are presently looking for artists interested in being a resident or simply running their classes, workshops or rehearsals at our studio.
